Gregory Poilasne, Ph.D. – Chief Executive Officer

Gregory brings more than 16 years of telecommunications expertise, spanning technology development, marketing, sales and customer support, and business operations. Before joining DockOn he served as V.P. of Business Development at RAYSPAN. Previously, he served as Director of Advanced Development and Product Definition for Kyocera’s handset business. His responsibilities ranged from simple component development to platform definition and demonstration. Gregory joined Kyocera in 2003 as Senior Manager of the antenna group, and he led the development of Kyocera’s first internal antenna phone with performance equal to that of external antenna phones. Gregory was a co-founder of Ethertronics, a VC-funded antenna startup in San Diego. At Ethertronics, he co-led their antenna technology development, established their applications engineering group, and interfaced with customers around the world. Gregory’s academic credentials include a PhD in telecommunications from the University of Rennes and an MBA from the Wharton School. After he was awarded his PhD, he served as a research engineer in wireless communications at CNRS (Lab Antennes et Telecommunications, France), and then moved to the US and became a Research Fellow in the Electrical Engineering Department at UCLA.


Dr. Forrest J. Brown, Ph.D.  – Chief Scientist

Dr. Brown has more than 20 years of design and development experience in the field of RF and Digital systems and component design. Dr. Brown has contributed to several hundred patents in the industry as well as many innovative circuit designs used throughout the RF communications and digital interface industry. He has worked for Litton Industries, Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Hughes Aircraft, and TRW, Aerospace companies and for the US Department of Defense; where he has designed a wide variety of products such as Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Network Analyzers, Radar Systems, Telephone Wireless Devices, and Secure Digital Communication Systems. During the past 10 years Dr. Brown has been deeply involved in leading edge design and development of all modes of RF and Data transfer systems including mixed signal devices for the telecommunications industry.


Ryan Orsi – Director of Engineering

Mr. Orsi has over 9 years of experience in the wireless and information technology industry. As Vice President of an IT integrator company, he lead wireless installation teams and worked with many of the RF industry’s most innovative and key companies. He holds a high distinction Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Member of the IEEE.
